Newborns just look so cuddly in it. So when my little Naomi came I decided it was time to make the investment. I finally had a chance to photograph her in it and try out my new prop. I love it, I think this is my new favorite newborn prop next to the bear hat.

I am talking about the day we get to welcome our new addition to our family.  There are 19 days left until my scheduled c-section. I am feeling the toll of the last month, I can’t seem to get enough sleep and the munch keeps me plenty busy chasing after her and picking up things she discards. I am happy to be near the end but I am also sad at the same time knowing that this is the last time I will ever feel a baby grow and move inside me. I love that part the most about being pregnant, feeling the kicks and flips as the baby does it’s thing. I am excited to meet this kid and learn it’s personality, likes and dislikes, and foster a relationship.

That being said I will be on maternity leave from Dec 20 until Feb 28th. If you are waiting for albums I will let you know as things arrive in the studio to be picked up.  I will be out of commission the first 3 weeks after  my c-section so If things arrive then they will be available for pickup the middle of January since I am not allowed to travel up and down steps and we live on the second floor.  I will post photos once our new one arrives and keep you all up to date.

If you are expecting and would like to have a newborn session in the studio I will be available for in studio sessions only from Jan 18th. Please contact me with your Due Date so I can loosely plan for your session when your little one arrives. Have a very Merry Christmas and Holiday Season Everyone.

I used a quick-page from paisley press. Check out her blog, I love the simplicity of her designs. My in-laws have an apple orchard in Vermont. Every year starting at the end of August they go up on the weekends to pick apples then bring them back to PA to sell them at their road side stand. Every day Evie and I take a walk to visit the apples. She is obsessed with them. We always pick one to eat while we walk. I will send this page to be printed as a 12×12 print at my lab and finish it by adding some dimensional stickers and chipboard embellishments.
