Little M came to the studio right before Easter. I have been busy with my own collicy new baby I just didn’t have a chance to post until now. Miss M was so sweet and looks just like her daddy I couldn’t believe it. Here are a few shots from her session.

Miss J and her parents came to visit me the other week. Even at 5 weeks old I was able to get her to sleep and get some precious shots.

{Keepsakes} Image Box

One of our new products just arrived in the studio this week. They are image boxes. These boxes feature your favorite photo on the front of the box and can hold up to 25 matted images inside. Display your favorite image next to the box on an Isle or keep the mattes inside.

{NEWBORN} Little Miss E

Little Miss E came to visit me today. I have been looking forward to meeting her for quite some time, you see I am very good friends with her Mommy and Daddy. Her Daddy and I use to work together back in my camera shop days. We occasionally collaborate on photo shoots every now and then. When Miss E’s Mommy and I found out we were preggo at the same time and due within a few weeks of each other we had to laugh. Thanks Brett and Shan for bringing Miss E to meet me and letting me photograph her. She is adorable!

{Newborn} Little Miss N (again)

I have been eyeing this stork pouch for quite a while now. Newborns just look so cuddly in it. So when my little Naomi came I decided it was time to make the investment. I finally had a chance to photograph her in it and try out my new prop. I love it, I think this is my new favorite newborn prop next to the bear hat.

{Personal} It’s almost here!

The big day is almost here, and no I am not talking about Christmas. I am talking about the day we get to welcome our new addition to our family. There are 19 days left until my scheduled c-section. I am feeling the toll of the last month, I can’t seem to get enough sleep and the munch keeps me plenty busy chasing after her and picking up things she discards. I am happy to be near the end but I am also sad at the same time knowing that this is the last time I will ever feel a baby grow and move inside me. I love that part the most about being pregnant, feeling the kicks and flips as the baby does it’s thing. I am excited to meet this kid and learn it’s personality, likes and dislikes, and foster a relationship.

That being said I will be on maternity leave from Dec 20 until Feb 28th. If you are waiting for albums I will let you know as things arrive in the studio to be picked up. I will be out of commission the first 3 weeks after my c-section so If things arrive then they will be available for pickup the middle of January since I am not allowed to travel up and down steps and we live on the second floor. I will post photos once our new one arrives and keep you all up to date.

If you are expecting and would like to have a newborn session in the studio I will be available for in studio sessions only from Jan 18th. Please contact me with your Due Date so I can loosely plan for your session when your little one arrives. Have a very Merry Christmas and Holiday Season Everyone.

{Scrapping} Holidays In Hand

As many of you know I love to scrapbook. I am a hybrid scrapper using both Traditional and digital methods combined. I never print my images at home, I always send them to a lab to be printed. I need the real thing no computer printout will do. I signed up for a free scrap-booking class at http://www.jessicasprague.com . I simply adore her site. She has so many classes on scrapping both traditional and hybrid methods. It is a great inspiration even if your Just getting Started. The class I am taking is all about recording your holidays and getting to what they really mean to you. I think this is a great, with Andy and I starting our family and having 2 little ones around the house it is a perfect opportunity for us to reflect on the memories and traditions we want to instill on our children. Everyday we have have a journaling topic and a photographic assignment. What a great way to keep from getting rusty in the slow season. I thought it would be fun to post my project along the way. I cant guarantee I will get every day done and up on the blog but I will try. Here is a sneak peek of our first assignment.
