One of our new products just arrived in the studio this week. They are image boxes. These boxes feature your favorite photo on the front of the box and can hold up to 25 matted images inside. Display your favorite image next to the box on an Isle or keep the mattes inside.

{Scrapping} Apples

I am so behind in my scrapping it’s crazy. I put together this page this morning just for a little fun. I used a quick-page from paisley press. Check out her blog, I love the simplicity of her designs. My in-laws have an apple orchard in Vermont. Every year starting at the end of August they go up on the weekends to pick apples then bring them back to PA to sell them at their road side stand. Every day Evie and I take a walk to visit the apples. She is obsessed with them. We always pick one to eat while we walk. I will send this page to be printed as a 12×12 print at my lab and finish it by adding some dimensional stickers and chipboard embellishments.

{Scrapping} Holidays In Hand

As many of you know I love to scrapbook. I am a hybrid scrapper using both Traditional and digital methods combined. I never print my images at home, I always send them to a lab to be printed. I need the real thing no computer printout will do. I signed up for a free scrap-booking class at http://www.jessicasprague.com . I simply adore her site. She has so many classes on scrapping both traditional and hybrid methods. It is a great inspiration even if your Just getting Started. The class I am taking is all about recording your holidays and getting to what they really mean to you. I think this is a great, with Andy and I starting our family and having 2 little ones around the house it is a perfect opportunity for us to reflect on the memories and traditions we want to instill on our children. Everyday we have have a journaling topic and a photographic assignment. What a great way to keep from getting rusty in the slow season. I thought it would be fun to post my project along the way. I cant guarantee I will get every day done and up on the blog but I will try. Here is a sneak peek of our first assignment.

My Munch

My Munchkin is growing up so fast. I can’t believe that she is 18 month old already. Everyday she makes me laugh and astonishes me with how much she is learning. She just learned how to count to 10 this past week, I am one proud mama. Her communication is also improving in leaps and bounds. She has started to ask for things by name and say please instead of signing for more. I am very lucky to have such an easy going child, even as we are approaching the terrible 2′s even on her worst days it is easy to calm her and get her back on track. I just hope that munchkin #2 is as easy going and happy as her sister. We will find out in 47 days when we finally get to meet Little Miss Naomi. I have a feeling she is going to be a lot bigger than her sister was and a lot more feisty. She is a very active baby so far. She loves to kick me in the ribs and my right hip.

If you are interested in christmas portraits I will be shooting until the first weekend in December. After then I am planning on taking it easy. I am already getting big and having some back problems. I am planning on returning to the studio in March. That being said I am making special exceptions for Maternity and Newborn photos. If you are expecting or know someone who is and would like to have a portrait session please contact me. All portrait sessions in February will be in studio sessions only since I myself will still be healing from my c-section.

My new 50mm lens

I think I am in love. I just got a shiny new 1.4 50mm lens. Of course I had to try it out on my favorite test subject, Evie. Evie is a very smart little girl, at 16 months she can fully operate her mommies iPhone including deleting my apps. These photos were taken by the glow of my phone.
